  Student Member Service Representative - Sparta, West Salem, Tomah

1st CCU is accepting applications for Student Member Service Representative positions in all three locations: Sparta, West Salem, and Tomah. These are part-time 10-15 hour per week positions. As a Student MSR you would be responsible for greeting and welcoming members, performing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, and verifying check endorsements. We will teach you how to develop business relationships with new and existing members to provide them with products and services that will best fit their needs. You will perform additional requests and duties within the hours you work. You would be responsible for working after school until 5:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8:00am-12:00m.

We work in a team environment, have an extensive training program, and encourage collaboration and open communication. You will have regular contact with all employees of the credit union. This position is the face of our credit union as you're typically the first point of contact coming into the branch and the last point of contact as our members leave.   Technology Specialist II - Sparta Office

1st CCU is recruiting a Technology Specialist II.  This role is responsible for providing technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and resolve PC troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Manage and maintain the phone system including setup, troubleshooting, and updates. Serve as the liaison with our core processor, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Collaborate with internal and external vendors for system maintenance and improvements.

This position requires an Associate's degree in a computer related field and/or 4 years of relevant experience at a financial institution.  We will require special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for the credit union. Proven ability to understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware networking, and accessory equipment. Requires the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively. Must have strong communication and training skills, be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users, and have strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Symitar Episys core processing system, SQL, and PowerOn knowledge is a plus. Valid WI Driver's license is required.

  Consumer Loan Officer - Tomah

1st CCU is seeking applicants for a Consumer Loan Officer position in our Tomah Office. This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. A CLO interviews applicants for consumer loans and processes loan applications. You will be responsible for gathering background information and analyzing loan applicant's credit history. Normal day to day functions include answering questions about consumer loans, determining collateral values, preparing member loan files, offering financial counseling to our members, recognizing cross selling opportunities, and completing sales reports. At 1st CCU, we are a dynamic team where each member plays a key role in delivering exceptional service and helping the organization grow. This role has the chance to take on responsibilities beyond your main duties, including opportunities in other areas of the branch. Due to a collaborative team structure, you'll be expected to expand your skill set and gain valuable experience in different areas, whether it's supporting other team members, taking on cross-functional tasks, or getting involved in a special project. While your primary focus will be the Consumer Lending duties described above, this position offers the unique chance to develop and enhance a broad range of skills that can contribute to both your personal and professional growth. Three years of related financial experience is preferred. Ability to handle difficult or complex situations with a professional, friendly demeanor. High school diploma required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and various office machines/equipment and use of computer, as well as basic mathematical knowledge required. Valid WI driver's license required.

  Loan Processor I - Sparta Office

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for a Loan Processor I position. This is a full-time 40 hour/wk position in our Sparta office. The Loan Processor performs a variety of administrative and support duties related to processing of loans. This position works with filing and maintaining our consumer loans and preparing initial disclosure documentation. In addition, this position will audit files, communicate with outside vendors, and answer telephone inquiries to resolve routine problems in a professional and courteous manner. If you have a keen eye for detail and are looking for an opportunity to work in a team environment, we encourage you to apply!  Successful candidate will have an ability to multitask and use Microsoft Outlook programs to stay organized. A high school diploma is required. Must have proficient typing skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally, knowledge of various office machines, equipment and use of a computer, and basic mathematical knowledge. Valid WI driver's license required.

  Part-Time Member Service Representative - Tomah Office

1st CCU is accepting applications for a Member Service Representative (MSR) to work 20-hour/wk in our Tomah office. This position works with our members, fulfilling financial needs by assisting with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, debit cards, credit cards, change orders, and additional duties. We will teach you how to develop business relationships with new and existing members to provide them with products and services that will fit their needs.
