Loan Officer 1 - West Salem/Sparta/Tomah
1st Community Credit Union is accepting applicants for a Loan Officer I position. We're seeking a motivated individual with Mortgage experience to join our team. The position's home base will be in our West Salem branch, but will travel to all branches servicing our members with mortgage loans. In this role, you will assist new and existing members in navigating the mortgage process, from application to closing, ensuring each transaction is processed timely and accurately. This position provides information on credit union products and services according to all credit union policies and procedures. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing mortgage business through referrals, realtors, contractors, and other business contacts.

An Associate's Degree in Finance and/or three years of real estate lending experience in a financial environment is preferred. Secondary market experience preferred. Knowledge of sales and marketing a plus. Excellent interpersonal relations and oral/written communication skills required. Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office, along with various office machines/equipment required. Proven ability to analyze complicated factual and mathematical situations, apply functional principles, and develop solutions. Valid WI driver's license required. The majority of your work will be performed in a normal office environment, standing, climbing, and lifting various objects is also required on an occasional basis. Student Member Service Representative - West Salem Office
1st CCU has an opening for a Student Member Service Representative (MSR) position with a High School Student in our West Salem location. This is a part-time 10-15 hour per week position. As a Student MSR you would be responsible for greeting and welcoming members, performing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, and verifying check endorsements. We will teach you how to develop business relationships with new and existing members to provide them with products and services that will best fit their needs. You will perform additional requests and duties within the hours you work. You would be responsible for working after school until 5:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8:00am-12:00m.
We work in a team environment, have an extensive training program, and encourage collaboration and open communication. You will have regular contact with all employees of the credit union. This position is the face of our credit union as you're typically the first point of contact coming into the branch and the last point of contact as our members leave. We're looking for an individual that likes to work with people, enjoys helping others, has attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
